Processed vs. Packaged

When I say that I don't eat processed foods, people often think that I only eat fresh fruits and vegetables.  Although it's true that plants make up the bulk of my diet, don't be surprised if you see me tearing the wrapping off of a nutritional bar or heating up a pre-packaged dinner.  Many companies these days are listening to consumers and they're creating easy-to-eat unprocessed meals.  Basically, this means that the foods are prepackaged, but they haven't undergone any procedures that alter them from their natural state.  I'm finding it easier and easier to buy convenience foods that are made from 100% whole food ingredients.  Here are a few of my favorites, along with the company websites.  I buy all of my foods at regular old grocery stores, so please don't feel like you need to go to a specialty health foods store to get these things.  For those of you who are local to Southeastern Wisconsin, I buy all of my food at Woodman's, Pick 'n Save, and Costco.
